Join us for a five day Cub Scout Safari at Cub Scout Day Camp - Canyons Camp! Our 2020 Day Camp begins Monday, July 13 and runs daily through Friday, July 17 from 8:00-1:30 with After Camp Swimming available from 1:30-3:30. Located at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center in Orange, day camp gives boys and girls the opportunity to participate in a variety of age-appropriate programming including woodworking, engineering, science, cooking, archery, BB guns, and more. At the Canyons Day Camp location only, campers do not need to be registered Cub Scouts. This means your child can experience what it's like to be a Cub Scout before you decide to join a Pack! Invite your Scout friends, sports friends, neighbors, and classmates! All are welcome.
Adult Volunteers (ages 18+)
Parents are encouraged to join in the fun by serving as a day camp den leader or by helping in a variety of other positions. Our camp is run solely by volunteers, therefore volunteers are always needed. Serve for one or two days or for the whole week. There are plenty of opportunities available. Learn more about volunteer opportunities. Volunteers with younger children - a fun and hands-on preschool-style day care is available for children (ages 3-5) that are potty-trained. Learn more about Adult Volunteer opportunities here.
Youth Volunteers (ages 11-17)
Youth Volunteers can earn service hours for Scouts BSA or school by volunteering at day camp, if needed. Learn more about volunteer opportunities here.
