Camp Participant "Campers" Information

NEW THIS YEAR: Campers do not need to be a registered Scout in order to attend day camp at the Canyons Cub Scout Day Camp Location Only! We are open to boys and girls in first grade through fifth grade. Siblings and non-scouts are welcome to attend.  

Register before June 15th and save $20!  Cost is $150 per camper with early registration before June 15, 2019. Register after June 15th and the cost per camper increases to $170. Registration closes on June 28, 2019.

Scouts from Packs that are Gold Units also receive an additional $5 off registration. Check with your Cubmaster or Committee Chair to see if your Pack qualifies. A limited number of Camperships (scholarships) are available. Please contact us for more information.

Medical & Release Forms

All campers and volunteers are required to complete BSA Medical Forms A & B, Outdoor Education Center release form, and provide a front & back copy of your insurance card. Once you register for day camp through the BSA website, please complete the medical forms and mail them, along with the copy of your insurance card, to:

Camp Add-On Options

After Camp Swimming (Monday - Thursday 1:30-3:30) Cost: $80 per camper 


Cub Scout Day Camp campers are invited to cool off after their session of Cub Scout Day Camp in the IROEC recreational pool from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, July 15-Thursday, July 18.

Please bring swimming clothes, towel, sunscreen, and a snack. Flat fee for campers is $80 for the four days of swimming. A parent permission form and OEC waiver must be completed for each camper/youth volunteer participating.

Webelos & Arrow of Light Overnight Campout (Thursday, July 18)  Cost: TBD


Pack your bag for a memorable night of activities and Scouting fun! This event is for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts attending the Canyons Cub Day Camp only. Scouts will participate in swimming, hiking, and a campfire program. Thursday Dinner, Friday Breakfast, and Friday Lunch are included. Scouts will be tent camping.  The will need to bring their own tent, a sleeping bag, a towel, swimsuit, and closed-toed shoes. Registration closes 6/28/2019.

What to Bring to Camp Each Day

  • Campers should wear their Day Camp t-shirt, shorts, socks, Scout hat, and closed-toe shoes. Sandals are not allowed.
  • All campers must bring their own lunch each day.
  • All campers must bring a refillable water bottle clearly labeled with their name.
  • Apply sunscreen before arriving at camp and send them with extra. Be sure to teach your child how to properly apply their own sunscreen.
  • If registered for After Camp Swimming, bring a bag with swim suits, a towel, and a snack.
